| The Neurological Group which
runs the Nerve Centre is an umbrella group comprising local MS,
Parkinson's, epilepsy, Huntington's disease and stroke representatives
working together to form a cohesive and therefore stronger voice aiming to
improve local services for those with (often long-term) neurological
conditions. Current Government health policies do not generally
afford these conditions high priority in health planning and therefore
they are among the most disadvantaged of groups in society.
