More Rights for Carers in Scotland

If you are a carer, whatever your age, then it's worth checking out your new rights announced by the Scottish Executive.  There are 600,000 carers in Scotland who need all the help and support they can get, and new initiatives give them access to needs assessments.  Check out the Caithness Community Website for more details.

Carers Group

The Nerve Centre would like to set up a carers' group, to be self-run and as formal or informal as its members wish.  If you are a carer of someone with a neurological condition and feel you would benefit from having a chance to share your feelings in private or just escape for a while, then we would love to hear from you.  Please call in, phone or e-mail us.

Crossroads Care Caithness

There is respite help available to those who are full time carers, provided by arrangement with the Crossroads Co-ordinator Maggie Page.  See their site for details of how to contact her.
